Realistic Roadway to a Healthy Lifestyle

Most of us, or as a matter of fact, every one of us wants to lead a happy and healthy lifestyle where imperfection of even a single hair is unimaginable.

That is the dream world we all live in.

A healthy lifestyle is something that can never be generalised since every individual's necessities are different. Every time the clock strikes midnight on New Year's Eve, the wild imagination of coming out of a new skin, to become the brand-new version of ourselves is very fascinating but the reality is a big myth. Thus, each time we make a new year's resolution, we break it even if it were not our original intention.

Why bother adapting to a healthy lifestyle in the first place? Sure, it is necessary to look good, feel good. But what we forget is that when we are all old and tired (which we inevitably will be), all our past years of unhealthy trash will haunt us with diabetes, high-low blood pressure, cancer and whatnot. Prevention of the untold circumstances is always a wise decision to make and an excellent action to take before it is too late. So, if one feels that maybe they should give their body and themselves a second chance to steer the course of action away from all miss happenings, then do give it a chance, you never know how it'd surprise you.

Yet the question still remains, when.

When does one take time off their busy schedule to give some precious moments to themselves? The answer lies in the interrogatory confusion itself. One does not have to make time but incorporate it into one's schedule. Squeeze in healthy habits in your busy day, these small habits may seem insignificant but in later life, it will definitely make a difference.

One must understand that it is not a collection of pills invading breakfast, lunch and dinner that will make you a happy human being, it will just make you tired and your kidney weary. An amazing supply of espresso is not something keeps you going, it keeps the HCl (HYDROCHLORIC ACID) in your stomach running up and down like a happy kid, poking holes in your stomach which will undoubtedly lead to an ulcer. Also, if one thinks that taking the stairs once in every millennium will help them improve their metabolism, then they are dumbly mistaken.

There is no prescribed right way of doing things but by incorporating a series of corrective measures does help.

Firstly, one may start by welcoming water in their lives. Every human body yearns for h2O.

The simplest way of achieving this healthy habit of drinking four litres of water a day is by keeping a bottle of water in your line of sight always. Initially one may take the help of reminders on their phones if needed. Also, there have been many apps that track your water intake and remind you that your body is thirsty, even if you are not.

Secondly, take the stairs 'regularly' and not 'occasionally'.

Some other small changes that can be incorporated is using small utensils at home. The beauty of using small utensils is that when one fills up the plate, it gives an illusion to the eater that they are having too much food. In this way one ends up having a light yet filling meal. This trick helps in weight management as well.

Fibre is another key to achieve the best metabolism of your life.

Having soups and salads is another effective way to keep one full while being very light on the calories.

Meals must be broken down to a minimum of 5 to 6 times. Having filling short meals throughout the day keeps your metabolism going. Some other small tricks that help big time are, meditation for at least 10 to 20 minutes per day. Having fresh items rather than packaged food, since those preservatives will do you no good in life.

Make your own lunch, this way one saves on one's health and pocket. Be a bit organized, start making to-do lists. Eat a little before going out to dine, this way one saves oneself from having extra, unwanted calories. One must always have a secret stash of snacks in case one forgets to have one of the meals of the day, but never starve. Set realistic goals and reward accordingly, this keeps one going for long run.

Take a vacation at least once a year, you deserve it.

Small sincere steps every day in the right direction with utmost dedication will surely make a big difference in life. It is only that one needs to sacrifice the small things in life for the big picture to happen.
