Queen Elizabeth's handbag- Style or Secret Code?

Elizabeth is the queen of sixteen countries which includes Canada, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Australia, Jamaica, Barbados, the Bahamas, Greneda, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Tuvalu, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Belize, Antigua and Barbuda and Saint Kitts and Nevis. She was born in London and has only one sibling, Princess Margaret, who was born in 1930 and they both did not went to school but were privately educated at home under the supervision of their mother. They studied history, language, literature and music. In 1947, she married Philip, Duke of Edinburgh who is the former prince of Greece and Denmark and they have four children- Charles, who is the prince of Wales, Anne, who is the princess of Royal, Andrew, who is the Duke of York and Edward, who is the Earl of Wessex.

Now talking about Elizabeth's iconic Launer purse, she shifts her purse from one hand to another not just inexplicably but its for a reason. It means that she has finished talking to a person. It has been told that the queen uses her handbag to send secret messages to her staff which indicates that she is done with the conversation or she does not want to move further with the conversation and want to leave it. 1. Queen Elizabeth carries a small mirror, reading glasses, mints, lipstick, a pen and on Sundays, a crisply ironed 5 or 10 pounds for the church collection plate.

2. She also carries her family photos and good luck charms given by her kids. Her helper also carries extra gloves, tights and sewing essentials for emergencies.

3. She has a code language. She shifts her bag from one hand to another indicating she's done with the conversation and her staff should come and move her along. And when she puts her bag on the table, it means that she wants to leave an event.

4. Queen owned more than 200 Launer handbags over many years. It began in 1968 when designer Sam Launer sent her a bag.The bag is never made with zippers and she never has a shoulder bag as she likes to access inside easily. She usually carries black bag but she is trying new and bolder colors.

5. She also carries a portable hook and suction cup in her bag so she can hang it from the bottom of the table as to avoid the floor. She always have matching wallet and mirror.

She mostly use Traviata style which is a simple shape with short handles and silver twisted rope Launer logo used as a clasp in the front.
