Opera, the alluring aesthetic music form which rose around the 17th century, is primarily a copious historic and dramatic singing of theatric plays.

Story through song was demonstrated through characters in the play, first formed by a group of scholars during Renaissance period. Opera was thus born, an opulent and formal branch of music along with actions and plays. One of the first Opera composers was Claudio Monteverdi, famous for his Orpheus Myth, Ofero. Opera's golden age was during the 19th century, where it spread to Western world and rest of Europe, taking many births, forms, and new compositions. Other noteworthy composers are Giuseppe Verdiin, William Davenant, Antonio Carlos Gomes, Heinrich Schütz, Jacopo Peri, Christoph Willibald Gluck, Claudio Monteverdi, Giuseppe Verdi, etc. Farinelli, Anna Renzi, Francesca, Cuzzoni Maria Callas, Mario Del Monaco, Feodor Chaliapin are famous Opera singers.

Opera is a music genre comprising of vocal parts accompanied by orchestral background support for extravagance. Formed by Florentine scholars during the 17th century, forged and birthed in such a way that theatre and music perfectly harmonised with each other. It is one of the forms of music that is very expressive and highly intensified. Originally it was actually called a dramatic text or tone in a theater performance. Usually, the text of the plays are sung in an intense manner to portray the emotions or a melodious song style is sung, called the Aria.

Operas are sung in choruses, duets or even single, depending on the role and composition. Its often accompanied by instruments such as harp, cello, basso, lute, etc. Italian, Russian, German, English, French, Chinese, and Latin are different kinds of Opera styles. Most of the funding for Opera houses are from tax subsidies. Most Opera house partner with Ballet companies, in order to increase their customers, fame, and funding. Opera is also featured in those Ballets and major films. Like pop music is featured in advertisements, theme music, etc, Opera's huge audience also made it to be featured in video games, commercials and so on. Pre-recorded videos of these plays are broadcasted in high definition format under the name of Metropolitan Opera.

First time an opera was available for online download was during 2009, during Glyndebourne Festival in Britain. The lead male and female voice in Opera is called Prima Uomo and Prima Donna, usually singing with highest of pitches. Since Opera's are sung and composed in different languages, many disadvantages raised in language understanding, many theaters provide subtitles of opera performance, projected on the arch of the roof in different languages, called the supertitles. Over the years opera grew, as did its supporting orchestra and fan crowd. The Opera adapters have changed the aesthetic taste and composition, presentation according to the growing change in likes of the crowd. The 21st century operas, even include the biographies of people like Steve Jobs and remakes of famous classics like Little Woman. To preserve this aesthetic art form and to find talent, every prestigious colleges has its own theatre houses.

Singing out loud, shows the raw desire towards music, a soulful performance and nothing less. Incorporating extensive props, climactic and sensational costumes and vivid makeup, this is one sight to behold.

"We are living in operatic times. Forget what you've heard about opera being remote and elitist. Opera is also the art form that, perhaps more than any other, specializes in heightened emotion, and in finding ways to communicate it."

ANNE MIDGETTE quoted in Washington Post, February 10, 2017

"People's reactions to opera the first time they see it is very dramatic; they either love it or they hate it. If they love it, they will always love it. If they don't, they may learn to appreciate it, but it will never become part of their soul."

J. F. LAWTON quotes in Pretty Woman
